Jonathan Hodgkins

Jonathan is a passionate young man whose dream it is to bring life to those who are hurting in tangible ways. Born in Reading, MA he grew up in a typical North American suburban town pursuing the American dream like every other child his age. However, his story took a dive towards the unknown with a missions trip to Brazil in his 15th year of life. The trip effectively ruined him for the world and for sake of others. This drive and passion has led him to numerous countries throughout the globe, sharing God's love with those whom he meets. From talking in schools in Wales to living in South Africa, his worldview has expanded in such a way that He longs to effectively serve the poor and broken of the world. He is a graduate of Gordon College in Wenham, MA, graduating with a B.A in Biblical Studies, as well as Youth Ministry.

A connection was made, while at Gordon, to the son of a Pastor in Sri Lanka. Adrian DeVisser is the leader and founder of Kithu Sevana ( Under the shelter of the Cross ) Ministries, one of the only indigenous churches in Sri Lanka. The church has made great leaps forward ministering to the country through acts of service, sustainable development, tangible acts of loveand relief work. Jonathan was asked to come assist the English church portion in their pursuits to connect with the increasing more Western capital of Colombo. There are many unknowns, but he has agreed to fly out to Sri Lanka inJuly to partner with these incrediblepeople on behalf of Christ's kingdom.
